Peanut - Golden Retriever - Adult Rehomer Peanut is a beautiful Golden Retriever she is 4 years old. ready to begin the next chapter of her life with a loving forever family. She has been an absolute joy to have here at Diamond Valley Kennels and is, without a doubt, one of the most well mannered Golden Retrievers we’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing.
Anyone who has met Peanut knows just how special she is she has that rare, gentle nature that makes you fall in love with her almost instantly. Peanut is incredibly patient, affectionate, and devoted to her people. She loves being by your side, whether that’s walking beautifully on lead, trotting happily beside you off lead, or simply sitting patiently in front of you, waiting for a cuddle and a pat. She has a calm, loving presence that makes her such a wonderful companion.
She is house trained and has spent time living indoors, where she has excellent manners. That said, Peanut is equally happy enjoying life as an outdoor dog, as long as she has plenty of love, companionship, and attention. Peanut absolutely adores her toys although soft toys don’t tend to last very long in her world! Give her one, and you may just find a flurry of fluff across your garden. A true Golden Retriever at heart. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and has a friendly, social nature.
Like many Goldens, Peanut is very enthusiastic when it comes to mealtime, so we do recommend feeding her separately from other dogs. Peanut has had limited experience living with children, but during her time in our showroom, she has always been wonderfully gentle and calm. From crying babies to excited little ones rushing over to say hello, Peanut has taken it all in her stride. She has shown herself to be patient, tolerant, and unfazed by the busy energy that children can bring. That said, Peanut would thrive best in a home where children are taught to respect her boundaries and understand when she needs her own space.
Peanut truly is the complete package loving, loyal, gentle, and full of personality. She is ready to bring endless joy, companionship, and unconditional love to the lucky family who welcomes her home.
Saying goodbye to Peanut will be incredibly emotional for all of us here at Diamond Valley Kennels. She has left paw prints on each of our hearts, and when the day comes for her to head off to her forever home, there certainly won’t be a dry eye among us. We know, however, that the lucky family who welcomes Peanut into their lives won’t just be gaining a dog they’ll be gaining a best friend for life.
